The service

Gistbite provides original summaries, quizzes, and AI-narrated audio of non-fiction books for educational purposes. Content is our own work and is offered "as is" for personal, non-commercial learning.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to create an account.

Acceptable use

Please don't: copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our summaries or audio; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or use it for anything unlawful. Our content is licensed to you for personal use only — you don't acquire ownership of it.

Subscriptions & payments

Some content requires a Premium subscription. Pricing and what's included are shown before you purchase. Where required by law, you may have a right to cancel; details are provided at checkout.

Intellectual property

Summaries, quizzes, narration, and the app itself are owned by Gistbite. Referenced book titles and author names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the works summarized.

Disclaimer & liability

Our summaries are condensed interpretations and may omit nuance — they're not a substitute for the original books or for professional (financial, legal, medical) advice. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for decisions made based on the content.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Significant changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
